FLOWTOP
Terms of Use
These terms describe using the Flowtop application and its optional connected services.
Application and source
Flowtop is a desktop conversation workspace operated by Ihor Oliinyk. Its source is available under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. The software licence governs your rights to use, modify, and share the software. These service terms do not replace or restrict those licence rights.
Your account and connections
Use accounts and calendar data you are authorised to access. You choose which accounts to connect and which calendars to show. Connecting a calendar grants the permissions shown by its provider; it does not change your Flowtop sign-in account. You can disconnect calendars in the app or revoke access in the provider’s settings.
Recording and meeting content
Before capturing a conversation, respect the participants’ privacy and obtain any permissions required for that use. Choose the audio sources and reference material you want Flowtop to process. You remain responsible for the content you provide and how you use the output.
AI and external providers
AI responses and transcripts can be inaccurate. Review names, commitments, dates, translations, and other output before relying on or sharing them. Calendar invitees are not automatically identified as speakers. Your AI and speech providers’ terms, availability, usage limits, and charges apply to their services. A Flowtop account does not include a separate subscription to an external provider. Flowtop managed cloud processing uses your Flowtop balance; you do not need a separate provider account for it.
Optional paid processing
Local Whisper is free to run on your device. Flowtop cloud speech and AI use a prepaid processing balance. Pay as you go has no fixed subscription; top-ups are $5, $10 or $25. Starter is $19/month with $10 processing credit, Pro is $49/month with $30 credit, and Business is $149/month with $90 credit. Business is currently an individual plan, without team administration. These are proposed prices until live purchases are enabled. The app displays the applicable rates before purchase.
Cloud speech is $0.36 per connected hour per audio source, with a $0.01 minimum per connection. Microphone and system audio are separate sources; connection time includes silence. Reconnection starts a new connection. Cloud AI is metered by input and output tokens at the model rates displayed in Billing. Credits are for Flowtop processing, are not a bank account or a transferable asset, and roll over while your account remains available. Usage stops at the available balance or your configured monthly spending limit. There are no automatic top-ups or overage charges.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Stripe subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Manage, change or cancel them through Billing → Manage plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. A successful full renewal issues its stated processing credit once; prorations do not issue an additional full allowance. Paid balance remains after cancellation. The checkout or billing portal shows any charge or proration before you confirm a plan change. Existing paid purchase terms are retained for that purchase.
USDC prepaid payments
Crypto payments use native USDC on Ethereum mainnet (ERC-20), through the exact payment request created in Flowtop. They are prepaid purchases, not automatic recurring subscriptions: a plan period lasts 30 days and must be renewed manually. The request expires after 15 minutes. Your wallet separately shows and charges Ethereum network gas in ETH. Flowtop adds no crypto processor fee. Do not send another token, use a different network, pay an expired request or transfer directly to an address without the invoice reference. Exchange withdrawals are not supported by this payment flow. Access is activated only after the server validates the exact payment and Ethereum finality; this can take several minutes.
Billing questions and refunds
Contact [email protected] for failed, duplicate, late or incorrect payments and refund requests. Include the Flowtop invoice reference, never a private key or seed phrase. Such cases require review; the application does not automatically refund cryptocurrency or recover transfers on unsupported networks. Card refunds, when issued, are reconciled against the associated processing credit. Crypto refunds, when approved, require manual reconciliation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Availability and changes
Connections depend on the relevant provider’s availability and permission policies. Features and supported integrations can change. The download page identifies each available platform build and its signing status. Supported macOS stable releases are signed with Apple Developer ID and notarised. No new payment subscription is created by connecting a calendar. Any separate paid service must show its own pricing and purchase terms.
Privacy and contact
The Privacy Policy explains how account information, calendars, and meeting content are processed. For support, contact [email protected]. Nothing here limits mandatory rights that apply to you.
